Ann Crook's Bio

HISTORY

Graduated from the University of Ottawa in 1972.

Freelanced as an artist working for the Museum of Science and Technology, and the Museum of Nature

Taught art to adults for the Ottawa Board of Education

Commissioned by both Heritage Canada and Heritage Ottawa to do drawings of heritage buildings

First one-woman show at Robertson Galleries, Ottawa, 1980

- First prize for etching and 2nd prize for drawing at the Armstrong Spallumcheen Art Gallery’s 29th Annual Ribbon Show

2018 

- Juried into the Federation of Canadian Artists ( FCA) as an Active Member

- Juried into the FCA National Oasis show in Peachland

- Accepted into the North Okanagan Chapter of the FCA “Different Perspectives” Exhibition in Vernon. Awarded 2nd place.

- Juried into the FCA Show “O Canada” in Vancouver. Awarded 2ndplace.

- Entered Okanagan Artists of Canada Society Paddlewheel Show in Vernon, B.C.

- First prize for etching at Armstrong Spallumcheen Art Gallery’s 30th Annual Ribbon Show

2019

- Juried into FCA Exhibits ”Landscapes” and “O Canada”,  in Vancouver

- Juried into the North Okanagan FCA show “On the Edge”,  awarded Honorable Mention

- Entered Okanagan Artists of Canada Society Paddlewheel Show in Vernon B.C.
